Students will have Monday off for Teacher Professional Development. Students will be "gearing up" this week for some football.... literally of course. Our next read aloud book is Unstoppable by Tim Green. Students will become quite involved in this story about a boy named Harrison. As they are listening, answering questions, discussing, and recording responses, they will also be using context clues to determine the meaning of unknown words. Ask your student to show you the weekly work on Peardeck through their google classrooms!
Please remember to have your student read AT LEAST 30 minutes a day!
Did your student write an essay for the Patriot's Pen through our local VFW? If not, there is still time!! Entries are due to your child's ELA teacher soon!!

6-8.ETS1.B.3: Develop a model to generate data for iterative testing and modification of a proposed object, tool, or process such that an optimal design can be achieved.
6-8.ETS1.B.2: Analyze data from tests to determine similarities and differences among several designing solutions to identify the best characteristics of each that can be combined into a new solution to better meet the criteria for success.
