Corron Mission Statement:
From the Principal:
We have had a successful start to the 2019-2020 school year. Everyone has jumped right back into the routines of being back in school. We’ve had a few new routines put in place due to changes in busing and staffing, so I appreciate everyone’s patience over this past week.
Last Friday each class spent some time learning about behavior expectations throughout the building. All of our expectations are anchored in the core expectations of “Be Safe, Be Kind, Be Responsible”. Staff defined what those look like in each area of the school (hallways, bathrooms, recess, etc.). We will continue to reinforce and revisit these expectations throughout the school year.
We will also continue our work focused on our mission statement this year (see above). Parents are a very important part of our Corron community. Please do not hesitate to call me with questions or concerns at any time.

From the Reading Specialist:
Over the summer, Corron received a new resource for teachers to use for guided reading instruction. We are excited for students to get their hands on these fun, interesting, and engaging books! We are looking for a few parent volunteers who would be willing to stamp, sticker, and organize these new materials. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Lauren Kelly lauren.kelly@d303.org. Thank you!
