Bittersweet & Timber Ridge Ski Clubs

Attention skiers and snowboarders: If your family wants to take advantage of skiing/snowboarding at either Bittersweet or Timber Ridge Ski Area for a discount this winter, stop by the office and pick up a ski club application. Applications and money are due by December 15, if you want your pass before Christmas Break. Both ski areas will be open soon! Once the temperature drops, they have the ability to make snow!

Gratitude

Getting kids to count their blessings can make them happier and less materialistic. The great thing about gratitude is you can learn it, practice it and cultivate it in your child. Research shows that grateful children are more satisfied with their lives, use their strengths to better their community, are more engaged in their schoolwork and hobbies, have higher grades, and are less envious, depressed, and materialistic. Here is a quick 1-minute video with ideas on learning and practicing gratitude.

PTO Meeting

The WSE PTO meets on the 2nd Monday of every month, in the Media Center, at 4pm. Please join us on Monday, January 10th. We will be planning our PTO Valentine's Day Festivities, Teacher Appreciation Week and our annual Fun Run!
