Science Team Parent Conference Reminder
We have sent this out via email several times, but wanted to remind everyone.
Greetings from the 6th Grade Science Department!
We are excited to inform you that this year our team will be attending the Conference for the Advancement of Science Teaching, or CAST. CAST is considered the preeminent, must-attend event for more than 5,000 science educators and advocates from across Texas and the entire Southwest. By attending this event, we will come back to school with new and exciting resources and engaging lessons.
Due to the schedule of this event, 6th grade science teachers will be unavailable during the parent-teacher conferences that are taking place on November 21 & 22. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
It is important to us that we are available to address any concerns that you may have. In that vein, our team will be available for conferences on October 24 from 4:30-8:00 PM. If you would like a conference at that time, please come up the 6th grade center and we will be happy to meet with you. If you cannot attend that evening and would like to meet face to face with your student’s science teacher please email your child's science teacher to set up a time for a meeting.
Thank you for your continued support.
