HAC (Home Access Center for grades)
Please be sure to check out the HAC system. This system is designed for parents and students to keep a close eye on grades at any point. If you notice that their is a blank (missing grade), please understand that the grade as NOT been entered yet. This DOES NOT mean there is a zero for that grade. If a student has earned a zero, a "0" will be entered next to the assignment's name. A zero will be removed when the student completes the assignment and the teacher has taken time to grade/enter the grade on the computer.
OWL times to work on HWK or any other assignments:
-Monday-Friday 7:45-8:15 am
-Success class M-F 35 minutes every day
-After school dismissal (15 minutes as they wait for their dismissal)
All Owl teachers are available during these times to answer students' questions and provide academic guidance!!

Homework: Students should be reviewing their Northeast Region states for a quiz on October 24th. Also, the vocabulary cards are due on Friday, October 27th.
United States Map Region:
The students will receive a region that they need to study for this entire 6 weeks. In this document, you will find the region with the states and capitals that the students will be expected to know and be studying throughout this 6 weeks.
Vocabulary list:
I have linked the complete vocabulary list for this six weeks. The students have all the definitions for the vocabulary words on their journal. It could also be found on the book online.
Owls Give Back
Owl students will be collecting items to help victims of Hurricane Harvey, please stay posted for the list of items we will be donating!
