The majority of our students will be attending Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic School (OLPH). More information regarding options and late entry French Immersion will be forthcoming.
Students that are designated for St. Theresa can potentially attend OLPH, you must contact the Principal of OLPH school: Mr. Alyre Morin . (780) 467-5631
St. Theresa School boundaries are closed and they can only accept resident students. If you received a letter then you are a resident student.
Also, St. Theresa students would have received a second email asking parents to pick options for their grade 5 child. Options open right away.
Please call the school if you need any assistance in understanding your child's placement for grade 5.

Dear Parents:
Madonna’s Flex Programming Option’s Session 3 is starting!
This is an opportunity for students to be given choices based on their individual interests.
Through the use of project-based learning activities and “flex” time, teachers are able to provide
students with extended learning opportunities. “The fundamental goal of education is to inspire all students to achieve success and fulfillment, and reach their full potential by developing the competencies of Engaged Thinkers and Ethical Citizens with an Entrepreneurial Spirit, who contribute to a strong and prosperous economy and society.” (Ministerial Order on Student Learning #001/2013)
Our third scheduled Flex session will run on Fridays - Block 8 & 9 (1:30 to 2:40 pm). Sessions are on the following dates: February 21st and 28th and March 13th and 20th, 2020.
Sessions will open for bookings on Tuesday, February 18th at noon. Sign up is online at www,schoolbookings.net using event code faxwd.
Session availability is based on a first come first serve basis and are limited in numbers. We
may be offering some of the same choices during other flex sessions throughout the year based
on popularity.
Thank-you to Parent Council for their continued financial support of these programming
opportunities.
If you have any questions, please contact the office at 780-467-7972.

Grade 3 & 4 CODING with DOT & DASH
Coding provides opportunities for students to learn to see the world through the lens of computational thinking. Through the use of robotics, especially Dot and Dash, students will strengthen problem solving ability, recognize patterns, and begin to build an understanding of abstract concepts.
Grade 3 & 4 Speed Stacking, Board Games & Gotcha Leadership
Gr 3 & 4 STEM - Winter Stations
Grade 3 & 4 Fitness Fanatics
Physical literacy is when children develop the skills, confidence, and love of movement to be physically active for life. Physical literacy gives children the tools they need to take part in physical activity and sport, both for healthy lifelong enjoyment and for sporting success. Fitness Fanatics is an opportunity for your child to engage in a variety of fundamental movements skills, physical activity, and sports while also learning about the importance/significance of sportsmanship, health benefits, and ways they can maintain a healthy active life.
Together let’s explore the fun of movement and getting active while focusing on good sportsmanship!
Grade 1 & 2 Can you Escape?
Breakouts teach teamwork, problem solving, critical thinking, and troubleshooting by presenting children with challenges that ignite their natural drive to problem-solve.
Each week will involve a new mystery or two to be solved as they crack the code and unlock the boxes.
