Red on the Chinese flag symbolizes communist revolution, red is also the traditional color of the people. The larger star on the top left corner represents communism while the four smaller stars represent the social classes of the people.



Chinese art is greatly influenced by the country's rich spiritual and mystical history. Many sculptures and paintings depict spiritual figures of Buddhism. Early in China art was made from pottery and from Jade in the Neolithic period. Bronze was also added in the Shang Dynasty.


Agriculture plays a big part in China's industry. China has over 300 million farmers. China ranks first worldwide for farm output. China mainly produces rice, potatoes, wheat, tomatoes, sorghum, peanuts, tea, millet, barley, cotton, oilseed, pork, and fish. China produces food for 20% of the worlds population.
