Software engineers in the US typically spend long hours at a computer testing, modifying, and developing programs. Engineers also use different methods of information sharing to clearly represent data obtained about solutions found and use of a product, or productivity of a group or program.

A software engineers average salary is $93,000. This may differ depending on their training/experience and/or the area of programming the job is in.
Education courses to look for.
The minimum education for entry level engineers is a bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or mathematics. Although some employers prefer a master. It is also highly recommended that you pursue some sort of experience/practice with the programs used before college education such as an internship.
