The Oxford Update
Oxford Elementary School
Wrapping up the Year
I know we have said it many times, but everyone at OES wants to thank our OES families for all their hard work and perseverance throughout remote learning. We know it was not easy. We know some of you felt it was all too much, while others wished we were doing more. Please know that we did and continue to do the very best we can and we are working and learning every day to make our best even better. So thank you for your support, your feedback,
and most of all your patience. We really appreciate it!
As we wrap up this year with kids, know that we are already looking forward to school in the fall and making plans for what that will look like. We are taking guidance from the Maine Department of Education, the CDC, and other experts as we work through multiple plans and scenarios. While we are not yet sure what the fall will look like in terms of teaching and learning, please know that we will continue to work and learn over the summer so that we are prepared and ready to meet our students where they are and move them forward in their learning.
Again, thank you for your support over the last few weeks. We could not have made it through this time without that!
