Life In Paris
Picasso moved to Paris, France in 1904, to open his own art studio. He stayed there until 1947. Picasso associated himself with Gertrude Stein, Guillaume Apollinaire, and Andre Breton who were also collectors of his art. While in Paris, Picasso made a lot of neo-classical artworks with the help of Sergei Diaghilev. Paris impacted Picasso in the same way Picasso impacted Paris. While Picasso was in Paris it brought about many of his most famous "movements". Paris brought out Picasso's Rose Period, Cubism, and Surrealism. Picasso's movements revolutionized how art was viewed in Paris and all over the world.
