Middle School South News

A Note From Mrs. Chastain:

The beginning of the school year is always an exciting time. We are happy to welcome back our returning students and their families, and meet our new students and families, as well. Thanks for sharing your children with us!

PTO Cookie Dough Fundraiser

The CMSS PTO is sponsoring a Blue Ribbon Cookie Dough fundraiser. The fundraiser will be kicked off with an assembly Thursday, September 3, and students will bring home order forms that day. The fundraiser will begin Thursday, September 3 and order forms will be due Thursday, September 17. Cookie dough will be delivered and ready for pickup during Student-Led Conferences on Monday, October 19, Tuesday, October 20, and Thursday, October 22.

Please encourage your students to sell cookie dough! The money earned goes to benefit all students in the school through activities such as the CABOT incentive, purchasing new playground equipment, and helping with other events.

Please Collect

Each year we collect Box Tops and Coke Rewards. Thank you to those students, teachers, and parents, who have already turned in collected items from the summer. Please continue to keep these and send them with your child to school.

Coke Rewards - There is a red trash can with Coke Rewards labeled on it right beside the front office window. Tabs can be placed in this can.

Box Tops - The counseling center keeps the box tops. For every 10 turned in, the student will receive a small prize. Over $554.40 was collect from summer alone. Keep bringing in those box tops! In addition to collecting box tops, CMSS earns 5 Bonus Box Tops when you subscribe to the Box Tops email newsletter that sends you coupons for Box Top products, free sample offers, Bonus Box Top offers, and weekly updates on our school earnings.
