NOVEMBER 23, 2022 - NEWSLETTER
Dear Lighthouse families,
This time of year is when we often focus on giving thanks. I am thankful to be a part of an amazing community where facilitators have an incredible devotion and ability to inspire and challenge students. I am thankful for the open communication and support from all of our families. I am also thankful for our students - their kindness, perseverance, and caring hearts.
We had a chance to share Lighthouse with KARE11 last week. The sunrise show came to learn more about how some of our students were involved in the development of the new board game – Herstory. They watched students play the game and interviewed them about their experience. The story aired this morning and you can watch it online on the KARE11 website.
Reminders and Updates
- In observance of the national Thanksgiving holiday there is no school tomorrow or Friday. We hope everyone enjoys the long weekend – however you spend the time.
- We’ll wrap up the first trimester on Dec. 1, and then there is no school for students on Friday, December 2 or Monday, December 5. Please be planning for these days.
Have a wonderful long weekend! We'll see students back here, Monday, November 28 and look forward to a strong end to this first trimester.
With Gratitude,
Lisa Cisewski
