Trailblazer Times
September 22nd, 2023
Hello Families,
We really appreciate all of you in attendance for student-led conferences! We loved getting to share your child's growth and progress for these first weeks of school. We are so proud of students working through the learning pit to achieve success in their endeavors. Students are working so well on aligning behaviors and actions to our TROT behavior matrix (please see below). We appreciate your support in both academics and behaviors, as well as your encouragement of student agentic behaviors in their learning and actions.
IMPORTANT CAR LINE INFORMATION: Please remind your child that they are to walk all the way up the middle line if they are in Line 2, and they should never cut between cars to get to the sidewalk. We are reminding them, as well, but please help us in this to ensure the safety of our students. Also, please make sure you are driving in the correct line so your child can get out on the school-side of your car, in efforts to avoid students having to walk in front of cars. You will be asked to circle back through the line to get in the correct lane. Again, this is to ensure the safety of all students. Furthermore, we need car line tags visible until students are completely loaded in cars. If you are in need of a car tag, please contact the office. Thank you for your diligent efforts to keep all students safe at Rollins.
In addition, state law prohibits the use of cell phones in a school zone, for the safety of students and staff.
Have a great weekend, Trailblazers!
Sincerely,
Carrie Farris
