Homestay Families Needed for Fall
RCS is looking for homestay families for our international students for the coming school year. Being a homestay family is a great experience and also an opportunity to share your faith with our international students.
Our greatest need is for homestay families able to take in high school aged boys, although we may have other students as well. If you are interested or have any questions, please contact Mr. Hank Yoo, International Studies Director, at 306-775-0919 or by email to rcs.international@myaccess.ca.

We will not be doing a school mail out this summer. Supply lists and first day back information has been included in each student’s June report cards. To access this information click the appropriate link above.
Summer Certificate Sales
The reception office will be open through the summer on the following Mondays from 8 am to 12:30 pm for certificate sales: July 14, July 21, July 28, August 18 & August 25.
A limited number of Canadian Tire, Superstore, Shopper's Drug Mart, Petro Can and Esso certificates will be available throughout the summer with the regular certificate orders resuming in September.

Custodial Assistant
Position Type: Part-time.
Hours: The position is guaranteed to average 15 hours/week over the course of a six month period. Time flexibility is important in this role. The successful candidate will be required to work evenings and weekends
Summary of Responsibility: The Custodial Assistant is under the supervision of the Head Custodian.
Duties include:
- Maintaining a positive working relationship with the church staff and congregation
- Washroom cleaning: sinks, toilets, walls, and partitions
- Room setups and take-downs (including worship area and classrooms)
- Classroom cleaning (table tops, windows, counter-tops)
- Sweep, mop and vacuum floors throughout the church
- Emptying garbage and recycling materials into the Loraas bins on site
- Seasonal responsibilities: grass cutting; snow shovelling
- Security & supervision during facility rentals
- Reporting damage and risks to the Head Custodian
- Other duties as assigned by the Head Custodian
Qualifications: Preference will be given to the individual who has demonstrated responsibility and proficiency in previous employment situations. A current Driver’s License is required. If the applicant is over 18 years of age a Criminal Record Check must be submitted.
Opportunities: Where the expected responsibilities require certification or training, the church will cover the costs of training related to the particular need which the employee is being asked to fulfill.
Compensation: Starting rate is $11.00/hour. This rate subject to increase at hiring based on the experience and competencies of the applicant. It can also be increased after the three month probation period given exceptional work performance.
Faith Baptist Church Summer Basketball Camp
Faith Baptist Church is happy to announce that it is holding it's first Basketball Camp this summer! It will take place July 28th to August 1st for children ages 6-10. The players may come for the morning and take part in the main program where they will be taught basketball skills, teamwork, and about a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. In addition the children may also stay for the afternoon and enjoy additional sports activities. We hope that your child will come out and enjoy learning about Christ through sports! Suya - A V.I.P Treat for your next party or event!
Suya is a popular west African grilled appetizer believed to have originated with the Hausa people from northern West Africa and Nigeria specifically. Grilled suya are African shish kebabs that consist of roasted meat coated with a spicy peanut rub.
It is made with your choice of meat and a peanut spice rub called tankora or peanut powder extract called Kuli-kuli. This speciality is normally served with tankora powder, sliced onions, tomatoes, cucumber and cabbage. Catering is available for small to large groups up to 1,000.
