Unfortunately, our Harrison tournament did not fill. It only had 3 teams and none of them are in our classification.


We are now signed up for a tournament in Kansas City, the KC Sports Slugfest NIT. The tournament will feature 3 of the other 6 teams currently signed up for the State Tournament in Nevada.

Kansas City Hotel Registration Process

This is a Stay and Play event.


The hotel reservation process is as follows:

  1. Call PSE Tournament Housing at 1-888-417-6446
  2. Press 2 and A customer service reprsentative will assist you
  3. Mention that you have Reference #72 for our Springfield Mavericks room block


The rate is $129 per night. You must complete this by Wednesday at 4 pm. Check your email for further details.

AAA State Tournament - Hold Dates of June 18-21

Our AAA State Tournament will be in Nevada, MO. This is not a team hotel trip. Nevada is about 1:40 from Springfield.


At time of this newsletter 6 of the 12 AAA teams in Missouri are signed up and one AA team. The number of teams will determine the start day and schedule.

Important Note: Slugfest in the Sand - Osage Beach

This tournament WILL have a Friday game. We have requested as late of a start as possible. This is not a team hotel trip. The field at Osage Beach City Park is also about 1:40 from Springfield. There are currently 9 teams signed up for this event.

Springfield Mavericks Baseball

The Springfield Mavericks are a competitive youth USSSA travel baseball organization and is a sports outreach program of Glendale Christian Church. The Mavs call Glendale Christian Field on the Glendale Christian Church campus its home.


The Mavs and member families have partnered to improve the land and baseball facility at Glendale Christian Church with the Springfield MO Little League so families and kids can enjoy the game of baseball.
