Notes for November

What is a veteran? Who is a veteran? These are a few questions you can ask your child. Eads Leads created a video that we showed the school along with a special interview with Sean Begley, STM Director of Building and Grounds, who is currently a Captain in the National Guard.

November is a time to give thanks and we want to give a HUGE thank you to our PTO that supports our classrooms in so many ways. Our Halloween parties were a hit....thanks to the clever STEM kits our PTO president put together for our entire school. Students enjoyed the challenge of making their personalized kit.

Our PTO also supports our staff by providing snacks, filling the lounge with goodies and providing dinner on Parent Teacher Conference Night.

For those families that are newer to Eads and have not yet experienced a "real" school year, our PTO helps to build the community piece of our amazing school. There are so many events that we have had to forgo due to Covid but we hope that someday soon we will have Grandparents Days, our fantastic school carnival, and other parent opportunities to see the what is going on in our school.

I want to thank all of you for your continued support. We know our families work hard at home to prepare their children for school each day. Thank YOU for all that you do to send us the BEST STUDENTS ever!! I am proud of our students for their perseverance through this unusual school year.

DRESS FOR THE WEATHER

Please be sure your child comes to school prepared for outdoor recess. Students should have a warm coat and hats and gloves if necessary. You may want to consider whether shorts and short dresses are still appropriate this time of year.

We take students outside for fresh air even if it is cold.

If your family is having financial difficulties, please call Mrs. Bevil. Many outside resources contact her to help families in need. Your information would be kept confidential.
