We are so grateful for all of your support!
-Congratulations to Mrs. Masters, Union Teacher of the Year, who was honored this week at the Board of Trustees meeting. Mrs. Masters stood among other excellent educators from across the district to be recognized publicly. She represented Union well!
Information from the Clinic
We are asking for your assistance in picking up any medication that your child currently may have in the health care clinic by May 26, 2016.
We will not be sending any medication home with students, even over the counter medication. Parents must pick up ALL medication.
Any medicine that is not picked up by the end of the day will be destroyed by St. Vincent health professionals.
If you have any questions, please contact the clinic.

State law stipulates that the medical records of children on file at school show the required immunizations have been completed by the 20th day of the school year. That day is Sept. 6, 2016. Information regarding immunizations requirements for 2016-2017 can be found here.
Parents of children whose immunizations are not up-to-date should contact their health care provider or the Boone County Health Department to schedule an appointment for the necessary immunizations. Some pharmacies also carry the necessary vaccines.
If parents object to immunizations, a written objection must be on file in the school office by September 6, 2016. Children who do not have up to date vaccination records by that date will not be allowed to return to school until the proper immunization information is on file. Students who have appointments with their health care provider after September 6th may present proof of that appointment in order to stay in school
If you have any questions, please contact the Mrs. Hooks in the Union Elementary Clinic. Thank you!
