STEAM stands for science, technology, engineering, art, and math. STEAM activities are excellent for preschoolers because they utilize hands-on learning through experiments that help develop reasoning skills. STEAM activities are also FUN!

There are so many ways to introduce STEAM activities to your children. Experimenting doesn't need to be difficult. It can be as easy as setting several items in a muffin tin (an ice cube, a rock, a crayon, ice cream, and a rubber ball, for example) and wait to see which ones melt. Why did some melt and some didn't? How does something change when it melts?
