Staff Updates
- The IRead movie for students who read enough minutes is March 31st. The buses will need to leave at 8:45 so we can get back in plenty of time for lunches. Kindergarten will need to be ready for lunches as soon as we return. I will let the cooks know that we might have to back up lunches a few minutes depending on returning time, but hopefully we will make it back by or before 10:55.
- We will be taking a Climate Survey soon. All staff members will be asked to complete this survey. We will try to do it during a CLT time, but if that’s not possible we will try to work it out during plan times.
- The class that had the most Parent Climate Survey participation was Mrs. Stocks's class. Please enjoy an extra recess next week.
- Big Brothers/Big Sisters Bowling is on April 22nd. I will need 4 other members on my team. Please let me know if you’d like to join the SP Bowling team. We are also starting to raise 300.00 for Big Brothers/Big Sisters next week. If you’d like to donate or purchase jeans stickers, see Trina.
- When finished with classroom project/item for PTO Carnival, bring them to my office so I can let PTO officers know
- Please start to review/practice the South Park Song. We will be putting this into our whole school assemblies. I want them to know the words before March 31st. If you need help finding this, come to me or ask a team member!
- Please turn in your conference sheet with percentage to me ASAP! I have to turn our numbers in next week.

Professional Development
This information I got from one of my breakout sessions a few weekends ago in Tan-Tara. I have had a lot of teachers ask about writing strategies and information for their classroom. Below is a link from the session. All you have to do is right click and then hit open in a new window. Please let me know if you have any questions.
