We want students to be warm when they go outside for 30 minutes of recess and should wear a coat, snow pants, hat, gloves and boots. If they wear snow boots to school, they should have shoes to change into during class time and for gym class.

If you need help with winter gear, please contact Nurse Lund at 892-9700.

Our school is a Community Eligibility Provision school which means all of our students receive free breakfast and lunch this school year (FY23). To determine funding for next school year (FY24), the district will use data from the Income Declaration Form (attached below). BLE will be sending home an Income Declaration Form with your student's report card this month. Please complete and return to the school office or teacher by January 26, 2023. Thank you.

MEDICATION/COUGH DROPS AT SCHOOL

All medications, prescriptions or over the counter, are kept locked in the nurse’s office. Cough drops and Tylenol are considered an over-the-counter medication. As a reminder, medications must be transported and delivered by the parent or adult representative to the nurse’s office. Students should not be transporting any medication to and from school and this includes cough drops. Please do not send cough drops to school with your student. Kids will share them like candy and we have to be careful with allergies etc.
