Now That's a Great Question!

SAY WHAT! YOU CAN MULTIPLY DECIMALS!
Great question! I'll tell you!
Well I guess before I tell you you have to know how. So before you read anymore watch the video below.
Did you watch it? Good!
Here are three times you might multiply decimals in the real world. When you are paying for your gas (gasoline) you have to multiply the price per gallon. Grocery store when a customer bought more than one thing (that are the same). Last but not least, when you are at a restaurant if someone bought more than one thing you could multiply instead of repeated addition. If you are still confused watch the video again until you understand or ask your teachers. Now you try to find ways where you multiply decimals in the real world!
NOW YOU'RE TELLING ME YOU CAN DIVIDE THEM TOO?
Another great question. Look at the video below for an example.
Next question: where would you divide decimals in the real world?
Well I'll give you three examples. One: when you and your parents and maybe your friends and their parents all go to a restaurant and they decide to split the bill to find out how much all for of them have to pay. 2: You use it a lot at the store. For example if bought a box of candy that had 6 pieces of candy in it and you wanted to figure out how much each piece cost, then you would divided the total amount by the number of pieces. That is how you would find out how much each piece would cost. 3: when you are payed for any kind of job you are going to have to divide decimals at some point.
