Belize Barrier Reef

Location: Belize

The Belize Barrier Reef is a series of coral reefs about 300 kilometer long part of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef system. The Mesoamerican Barrier Reef is the second longest reef system in the world, behind the Great Barrier Reef of Australia. Reef system is one of the most diverse in the world, and is home to a large number of endangered species.
