Special Education Parent Advisory Meeting

Thank you to everyone who attended the Special Education Parent Advisory on September 26, 2019. Tomball ISD Special Services will continue to improve based on the quality of parent feedback. All questions and feedback during this meeting were documented and the Student Support Team provided responses. Mental Health First Aid Training for Parents

Youth Mental Health First Aid is designed to teach parents, family members, caregivers, teachers, school staff, peers, neighbors, health and human services workers, and other caring citizens how to help an adolescent (age 12-18) who is experiencing a mental health or substance abuse challenge. This training event will held November 19, 2019 from 8:00AM to 4:30PM at the TISD Staff Development Center. RSVP to tweakadilek@tomballisd.net to understand mental health signs and symptoms!

Health and Wellness Expo and Parent Symposium

Parents! Attend this Tomball ISD sponsored event to gain information on health and wellness for you and your family from community organizations and practitioners. Also RSVP now for learning sessions, which will take place during the Expo. Learning sessions will include information designed for parents of children in Special Education, but available to all parents. Learning Topics will include:


- Mental Health

- Social Emotional Learning (SEL)

- Wellness

- Nutrition

- Fitness
