Emergency Lesson Plans
Every teacher whether classroom, specials, or diverse learner resource must have 5 days of emergency lesson plans on file in the main office. You do not have the option of leaving them in your classroom. It is unfair to your students and to the substitute teacher for you to be absent without leaving any instructional materials for your students. Remember, your plans must include copies for all of your students. Please do not leave directions for anyone to make copies for you. This is your professional responsibility. Failure to submit the full 5 days of emergency plans by the end of the day on Friday, December 4, 2015, will result in disciplinary action.
Reavis Academy
Reavis Before/After School Academy has begun. Students will use Think Through Math and i-Ready Reading along with additional resources to address identified areas of deficit. Teachers must submit their student roster as well as their scheduled program days to Ms. Cobbs by 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 1, 2015. You must have at least 10 students enrolled in your program. If less than 10 students are enrolled, you will have to recruit additional students before beginning the program.
Student Logger
Remember to log all communication with parents in Student Logger. All teachers should be calling the homes of their absent students daily and documenting the calls in student logger. Also, make sure all student misbehavior is documented in Student Logger as well. Without proper documentation we are unable to properly support our struggling students.
