HSH General Meeting

GUEST SPEAKER: John Koepke, Park Ranger,
Government Canyon State Natural Area
“A Glimpse at the History of Government Canyon and New Discoveries”
Join Park Ranger John Koepke for a presentation about San Antonio's largest Natural Area. Learn about its history, facilities, future plans, the differences between a State Natural Area and a State Park and, of course, dinosaur tracks (pictured).
Mr. Koepke has been a Ranger at GCSNA for 15 years. His duties have ranged from law enforcement, interpretation, guided hikes, trail maintenance, volunteer management, as well as overseeing a variety of special projects that include the dinosaur tracks/partnership with the Witte Museum, the iconic Zizelmann House, and the historic Kallison Ranch.
LUNCH: A deluxe box lunch from Jason's Deli.
Members - $10; Non-Members - $15.
