Chester County Intermediate Unit’s Driver License Testing Center
Your child can apply for a special opportunity through the Chester County Intermediate Unit’s
Driver License Testing Center. While this opportunity costs $100.00 per test, if your child is a Chester County high school student, and is over the age of 16, then your child can apply to take their driver test at no charge, at one of our Driver License Testing Centers. Our testing centers are located at each of the Chester County Intermediate Unit’s Technical College High School Campuses; Brandywine, Pennock’s Bridge and the Pickering Campus.’ While students can take their test at a state-run DMV for free, there is a wait list, making it difficult for students to get their license during the school day. Getting a license can make it easier to get a job. When you schedule at one of our CCIU centers, the test can be scheduled in as early as two days, and our centers provide a warm and friendly environment for your child’s test.
If you would like to apply, please visit, www.cciu.org/road-test and have the following information available:
- Student’s name
- Date of birth
- PA permit number
- The date you can take the driver license test
The deadline to apply is May 31, 2022. All awards will be issued by June 30, 2022. Once students are approved, they will get a letter with more information on how to schedule their driver license test.
Should you have any questions regarding this opportunity, please contact Debra MacCausland at debram@cciu.org or the office at 484-593-5945.
