Liberty High School News
December 2019
Our Mission
From the Principal's Desk
It’s hard to believe it’s already December! The 2nd nine weeks is moving right along and exams will be the last four days before Christmas Break. As we enter this time leading up to the holidays, we have a lot of exciting things taking place at Liberty High School. Our Theatre Program will be performing The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe starting December 5th through December 7th. On December 9th we will host a presentation in our auditorium to the community from visitors from Finland to discuss education. Then on December 12th we will have our first annual “Liberty Christmas” program put on by our entire LHS Fine Arts Department. These things, as well as basketball and wrestling events, will make for a very busy but very exciting month of December.
As we prepare for exams (see schedule below) please remember that students will not be dismissed during exam periods in order to eliminate disruptions during these important tests. Also, we will dismiss at 12:15PM on Friday, December 20th after our 3B & 4B exams (see schedule below for 12/20).
Most importantly, I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and I would like to personally wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Liberty High School. Thank you for your continued support.
