Turtle Unit
This unit the children are learning about turtles. We are introducing three main types, boxer, snapping , and sea turtles. We are also going on a field trip to Mystic Aquarium. Event Information
Mystic Aquarium Field Trip
Have the children appropriatly dressed for the weather, Have the children bring a lunch, The field trip costs $21. During this field trip the children will get see turtles up close and be able to satisfy some of their curiosity, and learn more about turtles after talking and learning about them in class.

Write down the similarites and differences between the three turtles, boxer, snap, and sea turtles.
Game and Activities
In class we will teach the children through a game called boxer, snap, sea. In this game the children will act out each turtle by snapping their hands, sliding on their bellies, or crawling on all fours. Then we will talk about how each turtle is different but important in their own way. It's a simple fun game you can play with your child at home.
