Word From Our Principal

In light of February being the month of caring and love, I want to share with families some of the ways that STEM Lab encourages positive behaviors among students. STEM Lab focuses on teaching students the following character traits: Composure, Compassion, Collaboration and Communication. Students learn the meaning of these words and what each looks like in action starting in kindergarten. Students have the opportunity to earn "STEM Gems" from all adults in the building when caught demonstrating any of the four C's. Teachers across the grades also use a research based curriculum to teach social-emotional skills that are developmentally appropriate for students. STEM Lab also has a Rox Box, introduced by the Colorado Rockies, located outside the main office. The Rox Box encourages students to write compliments to their peers. Each Monday, one compliment is selected and read during morning announcements, the student that wrote the compliment as well as the student that received the compliment is given a STEM Lynx school sticker. This helps create a culture of kindness and compassion at our school and fosters opportunities for other random acts of kindness. We value our partnership between school and home and appreciate your support. We welcome you having conversations about the four C's with your student as it fits into your home life.

Thank You

Tracy Tellinger

Enrollment 2017-2018 School Year

We did not distribute the intent to return forms to all families this year. We find it to be very wasteful,as the majority of our families return to us every year. If however you have decided to leave STEM for the 17-18 school year, we would like you contact Heather Davis at Heather.m.Davis@adams12.org. Thank You in advance, and hope to see you all back with us next year!

Nutrition Services

Adams 12 Five Star Schools participates in the National School Lunch Program, National Breakfast Program, After School Snack Program, and the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program. All of these programs are striving to help students develop sound nutritional habits by exposing them to a variety of foods every day. We offer many food choices and provide healthful fruits and vegetables daily.

The availability of these programs varies from school to school. To see if a program is available at your child's school contact us.

Did you know you can limit your student's meal account by contacting the school's kitchen at 720-972-3364.
