According to Academy Of Nutrition And Dietetics when your eating food make sure your using some of these rules.
1) The 5/20 rule, which means that 5% or less with saturated fat, trans fat and sodium and 20% or more fiber, vitamin A&C and iron.
2) When making your plate make sure half of it is in fruits and veggies choose ''reduced sodium" or "no-saly added" canned food.
3) Make sure your plate has a variety of lean meat, low fat milk and whole grain bread, cereal or crackers.
4) Look in your pantry and fridge, if you have 2% milk switch it to skim milk and if you have white bread switch it to wheat bread
