BARKSDALE ELEMENTARY
September 8th, 2022
Message from Dr. Minyard
Hello Barksdale Community!
Lots going on in the Barksdale world this fall. Please review all of the opportunities and events that are coming up over the next few months. A huge shout out to our incredible PTA for organizing so many wonderful experiences for our students and families!!!
A few new items in the newsletter this week include Fall Picture Day, Dot Day, and Go Get It Week dress up days. Additionally, the district is offering parents and community members the chance to learn about the Bond Propositions in the November election as well as Security Information and updates. See below for dates and locations of these informational meetings.
Well, we are hitting our stride and enjoying the ride. I have been sharing bits of wisdom to the students on the value of hard work, focus and attention, and developing your character. I hope that you will continue these conversations with your kiddos at home.
What a week it has been...
Sincerely,
Dr. Michael Minyard
