Shark Girl
Shark Girl is about a girl named Jane who is swimming on the West Coast of California when suddenly a shark attacks her. The shark attack causes her to have to get her right arm amputated. Her right arm was her good arm. She gets really emotional and disappointed because she cannot do what she used to do which is cook, paint, draw, button her jeans, etc. Jane used to love to paint and draw so that was super disappointed because it was hard to with her left hand. When she was in the hospital after waking up from her coma after a couple days, she meets a boy named Justin who is about 9 years old. Justin was in a car accident and had to get both of his legs amputated. Jane thought Justin was annoying at first, then he kind of grew on her. Justin had made an impact on her life by showing her how it will be okay and she will be an amazing drawer with her left hand in not that long and she just has to practice. After a couple weeks, Justin has to go home so Jane is alone for a couple days besides her mom who is always beside her side. A couple days after Justin leaves, Jane gets to leave and go home too. When Jane gets home she gets angry because she thinks nobody understands her and nobody gets how she feels.
