Broken Arrow - Where Grace Abounds
It seems like just a week or two ago we were having our Thanksgiving Potluck and celebrating the birth of our Lord. Now it's time to start back again! We have got some really fun art projects planned for the 3rd quarter as we study great artists. Some weeks you will want to bring a smock or old T-shirt for your child as we will be doing some painting. We will let you know what weeks to bring those. You won't need them for week 13.
SEE YOU ALL JANUARY 11th!

Other things to consider:
Did the doctor diagnose a contagious illness that should keep my sick child at home?
Illnesses such as pink eye, flu, scabies, head lice, impetigo, strep, whooping cough, RSV, and chicken pox are highly contagious. In this case, your child should remain isolated from others until the risk of infecting others has passed and doctor has said that it is okay to resume activities.
Does my child have any of these symptoms?
Fever above 99 degrees Fahrenheit.
Signs of possible illness such as coughing, difficulty breathing, wheezing,
persistent crying, or lethargy.
Diarrhea (loose or runny stools), a stool that runs out of a diaper, or a sick child
who can’t reach the bathroom in time.
Vomiting—most healthcare providers require a child to stay away from other
children for a minimum of 24 hours.
Any sort of rash, especially when accompanied by a fever or behavioral changes.
If so, please keep the child at home until the illness is no longer contagious (i.e., 24
hours fever and symptom free) and she/he feels well enough to participate in the
activities.
Prayer Requests
- Continue to pray for Erin Lee, Katie Schauff and Kristin Talbert and the babies growing inside them. Pray for healthy moms and healthy babies.
- Aly Chupp broke her wrist last week. Pray for swelling to go down quickly and the pain to subside.
- Pray that God would give each mom and dad strength in our community as we are raising disciples for Christ.
- Pray that our marriages would be healthy and strong. Pray for vibrant marriages.

I will say that it would be beneficial for them to attend an information meeting first, if possible. At the information meetings we go into details about the classical model, classical education and our programs. The program makes more sense once they have attended an info meeting.
