What warrants a CARES sticker?
After the holidays, there is often a need to flood students with positives. It is important to remind ourselves that we are still rewarding behaviors that go above and beyond the norm. Be sure to circle the letter that identifies what the student has earned the sticker for: COOPERATION, ATTITUDE, RESPECT, EMPATHY, OR SAFETY.
The student's attitude is positive and stands out from others in the class or group.
The student earning the sticker has taken respect to a higher level than his/her peers.
The student truly exemplifies compassion and understanding for those around him/her .
The student displays safe behavior in a tough and/or challenging situation.
