Principal's Message
Dear Parents/Guardians,
"Your life is your message to the world. Make sure it's inspiring." - Anonymous
This week’s quote is brought to us by our 7th & 8th grade social studies teacher, Mrs. Lockett. We love this quote for the week back from a long and restful break. The school year can be long and tiring for all of us, so these breaks are important for everyone to rest, relax, and recharge. We all come back inspired to make little changes and “be better.”
The often overlooked part middle school is the ability that our Senators have to inspire others by their actions. This week we saw many acts of kindness from our students, we saw students take a stand for what’s right, and we saw students working harder in classes. Sometimes sudents don’t even realize how powerful those actions are to others around them.
Part of life is realizing how your actions affect others as well. We can’t control how someone will always react to our actions, but we can control the actions we take and the message that those actions send to others. One action doesn’t define our Senators, but the combination of our actions becomes the building blocks to the message we send to others about ourselves. We strive with our Senators to make sure that those compounding actions build a beautiful message about not only who each individual is but who we are as a Senator community.
As always, if you have any additional questions you are welcome to call the main office (630) 719-5815 between 8 AM and 4 PM Monday - Friday.
Have a great weekend!
