Principal Points

I do hope everyone had a wonderful two week break, but it is great to have everyone back! Just hope everyone had a wonderful week!

The first night of Cotillion was this past Friday, and was a huge success! All due to the all the hard work of all the parents and staff who were involved! Thank you for making the Cotillion amazing for each of our students!

Inclement Weather

It is that time of year when the weather is very unpredictable and can cause the roads to be hazardous. This is when Skyward information needs to be double checked to ensure Family and Emergency Contact information is accurate. Please ensure that the Family and Emergency Contact information is accurate otherwise your child will only be released to the individuals who are listed within Family and/or Emergency Contact within Skyward. If you have any questions please contact Laurie Denny at 817-305-4904. The link is below:

TSMCA Math Competition

Volunteers Needed

On Saturday, January 23, our CMS math club is sponsoring a math competition for over 350 students from different districts across the metroplex. Volunteers are needed for proctoring test, grading (no math experience needed), collecting money, registering teams, organizing awards, and at the end of the day, returning the rooms used to normal setup. The money raised from this venture benefits the CMS math club and AVID classes. Lunch and breakfast will be provided.

Volunteer hours can be redeemed for high schoolers needing them. Also, a few volunteers are needed after school on Friday to set up the rooms for the testing the next day.

Please contact Joe Morgan at 817-305-4900 Ext 2237 or e-mail to joe.morgan@gcisd.net.
