Playground/Lunchroom Volunteer Sign Ups
The links to sign up for playground/lunchroom supervision for parents/guardians of students in Grades 7-8 are now live!
We are asking that each family (mom, dad, grandma, etc.) choose at least two days to volunteer each time slot being 11:00-1:00. We are so grateful for the help!
This is a great way for you to interact with your child and his/her classmates during the school day! Lunch/Recess Volunteers should arrive to school at 11:00 and check in at the office. Duties will include supervising students at recess, escorting students to the cafeteria from recess, and supervising in the cafeteria. Volunteers will be with one teacher and two "core" volunteers each day to help direct. Remember that after your two volunteer time slots, you are done for the year, as each month is assigned to a different grade.
Thank you again for your time and service to the students and teachers of SPB! Simply click on the grade level link to pick a time convenient for you: Grade 8 or Grade 7

Spirit Wear Online Shop
Our Spirit Gear PTO Online Shop will be open from August 21 - September 4!! Did you miss our table at Meet the Teacher Night?? Did we not have your size??? Now’s your chance to grab some gear for fall sports season and the rest of the year! Fan favorites are in stock as well as a few new items including our first ever joggers! You can shop online here or in Quick Links on the SPB website. The online shop closes September 4th and orders will be delivered to SPB around the last week of September. If you ordered one of our new headband designs at Meet the Teacher Night, those are made separately from the online store and will be delivered to your child by next week. Have any questions? Feel free to contact Kristie Krebs, Sarah Reynoso, or Katie Terman. **Remember that our online shop only opens three times a year (August, November, and March) so that we can bring you the best deals on merchandise! You’ll also see our Pop-Up Shop at some of the events during the school year, but stock is limited during those events so plan accordingly!
NEW Box Tops Information
The Box Tops for Education program is changing the way SPB can earn cash for our school.
Over the summer, participating brands have begun to change their packaging from the traditional Box Tops clip to the new Box Tops label.
Going forward, instead of clipping from packages and checking expiration dates, all Box Tops will be earned digitally by scanning your receipt. The Box Tops for Education team has worked hard to build a NEW-and-improved, user-friendly Box Tops mobile app, available now.
The new app features state-of-the-art technology that allows you to scan your store receipt, find participating products and instantly add Box Tops to our school's earnings online.
If you still have traditional Box Tops clips at home, make sure to send them to school on the 1st Monday & Tuesday of each month (watch the calendar for exact dates). These will still earn cash for SPB until they expire. Better yet, you can “double dip” during the packaging transition by clipping traditional Box Tops AND scanning your store receipt containing participating products!! We have already earned $12 by scanning receipts!!! THANK YOU!!

The Writers' Fellowship at SPB Parish
The Writers’ Fellowship brings together writers with a variety of strengths, skills and needs in a supportive environment to encourage thoughtful, written expression. Through discussions and readings from the writings of St. Peter Julian Eymard, Thomas Merton, St. Augustine and others, writers will find inspiration and the means to express those ideas from the well-spring of fellowship with others.
St. Augustine wrote: “Faith is to believe what you do not see; the reward of this faith is to see what you believe.”
Through writing, we will see what we believe.
Can you make a grocery list?
Can you make a list of things to do?
Can you email a friend? Or can you send a card with a note?
Can you write what you did today?
If you said yes to any of these questions, there’s a place for you at the table. Be not afraid. Remember, you answered one of the questions with a ‘yes.’
THE DETAILS: We meet on Saturday mornings from 9:45 to 11:00 in the St. Paschal Baylon rectory – Arkins Room on OCTOBER 5, 12, 19, 26, November 2, and 9. Park in the horseshoe lot off Wilson Mills Rd.
For any inquires contact Joe McCormack through the SPB Parish Office – 440-442-3410
Please note the Writers’ Fellowship is limited to TEN participants.
