Health Expectations When Visiting the School
When a visitor comes to the school we will utilize a paper questionnaire for health verification, coupled with a temperature check. This process may be completed in advance at home, and brought with you to school, or it may be completed on campus. If you answer yes to any of the questions, do not come to school. Please reschedule your appointment or arrange for a Zoom appointment with your child’s teacher. Click here if you would like to print out and complete the questionnaire prior to arriving on campus. We will provide more details in an upcoming communication about a self-certification app the district plans to use for students who visit school for academic support.
Please remember to always bring a driver’s license or ID to check in with the office.
Masks are required upon entering the building and must remain on during the entire visit.
Upon entering the building, please take a moment to sanitize your hands at the available kiosks.
Follow the social distancing and traffic flow patterns that have been designated on the floor of the facility.
Social distancing (6 feet or more) must be adhered to when in the building.
For health questions contact Nurse Finegan at 847-844-4224, tfinegan@barrington220.org.
Social Emotional Learning (SEL)
Our new Assistant Principal, Mr. De La Mora (on the right) welcomes Tiger families with Mr. Ontiveros (left) during student materials & meals pick up.
Assessments
The District is asking 2nd-5th Graders to come into the building for MAP testing. We are creating a schedule to bring in small groups of students for this to occur in the month of September. More details will be sent home directly to the students of these grades. Parents can let us know if they are not comfortable with sending their child into the school. Other assessments will be proctored remotely.
