Weekly Newsletter: December 11th, 2015

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." ~Margaret Mead

"APS students are leading the charge for energy efficiency & resource conservation in our community!"

Aurora Public School students and the Green Star Schools Program were honored last Tuesday night at the US Green Building Council (USGBC) Colorado Chapter's Holiday Gala.

APS is the first school (EVER) to be awarded the "Most Successful Community Engagement" Award!

That's right, y'all! Our hard work has paid off and every little (or big) effort towards promoting energy efficiency and sustainable projects throughout our district has added up.

What an honor it has been to see our students in action. Onward and upward! #apsgreenstars
