Eagles Principal's Update
School Closure Week 3: April 2, 2020
Dear Eagles Families,
You did it!! Two days of distance learning under your belt. NICE WORK!! Next Monday, we will plan on having our first VIRTUAL FIRE DRILL. That is always something we do within our first week of school, so we want you to join in the fun! See the picture below for more information. If you are not on the Eagles Elementary PTA Facebook page, please send me your selfie and your drill time (how long it took you to all get out of the house safely) to wriglet@fargo.k12.nd.us
I can't wait to see all of these fun photos. This should happy rain or shine :)
All of you have had contact with your child's classroom teacher in the last week. They have loved talking with you and your child, but do miss the day to day hugs, smiles and high fives from their students. A reminder that our core curriculum is the learning board. This board was created to support students at an independent level. Having your child watch the video that goes along with the learning board if the student has an opportunity (if there is a letter and number in the upper left hand side of the board, there is a video to watch online). If you are having trouble with that, there are directions below. The Education Portal has many other activities for all of our grade levels.
The Home Learning Help site is also set up on our Eagles Elementary page (directions below). Please make sure to start with the classroom teacher first. If you cannot reach them, then you can put a request in the Help Line area.
You and your family are in our thoughts. This is such a challenging time for everyone and we all want it to be back to "normal". We also know that our families have many different challenges they are facing right now as well as a range of emotions. We ask that you communicate needs with the teacher when they reach out to you. WE WANT TO HELP.
Have a good weekend!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Lingle
