What is visible Light?

Visible Light- Is the rang of electromagnetic waves that can be detected by the human eye.
Visible light transmittance(VLT)- is the amount of visible light that is allowed to pass through a glazing system.

Wavelength and Frequency Ranges

WAVELENGTH= 750nm - 400 nm

FREQUENCY= 4x1014 - 7.5x1014 Hz

FUN FACTS

  1. Visible light is produced by vibrations and rotations of atoms and molecules
  2. Each color has its own wavelength properties,and the eye can interpret them with special receptors
  3. What your eyes pick up and turn into a picture in your brain are these visible light waves
