Health and Safety Protocols: Mask Requirement Update
Message from Round Rock ISD: While we continue to implement health and safety procedures that help protect our entire community, given the current public health trends in COVID-19 cases and vaccination rates, we are revising our mask requirements to allow students the option to remove or keep their mask on during outdoor activities, such as P.E. class and recess, beginning Monday, March 29. Students who remove their mask should still appropriately social distance from others.
If students choose to remove their masks during this time, they must put them back on once they complete the outdoor activity.
All other mask requirements for students, staff members, and visitors will continue to remain in place. For a complete overview of the District's mask protocols, families are encouraged to review the Reimagining Education Plan.
