US and Canada Relationship

Border:
Both the US and Canada share one of the longest borders in the world. To be exact it is 3,987 miles long.
Economic:
The US and Canada share two borders and have one of the most closest bilateral relationships in the world. This includes the bilateral trade which earns both of the countries more than $2 billion per day. They share a large trade relationship, and they've produced an agreement. Both countries are each others largest and best customer.
Political:
Canada and the US both share the North Atlantic Treaty Organization(NATO). Since 1989, the US and Canada has had the North American Free Trade Agreement. The Free Trade Agreement was a trade agreement that phased out a wide range of trade restrictions and resulted in a great increase in cross-border trade.
Social:
Both Canada and the US speak mainly English. There is huge migration and tourism between the countries. In the late 19th and 20th centuries 6.6 million people left Canada mostly to stay in the US. Pop culture has effected both nations to solidify their cultural uniqueness. Canada's population is about 1/10 that of the US. Canada remains to be the US's favorite foreign nation since the recent Gallup poll.
