First Kids … Where God’s Kids Come First!
Happy New Year First Kids!
Baby …. It’s COLD outside! But we can't wait to see all of your little faces back for 2016!
Our bible verse for January is "Let the little children come to me." We will learn how God thinks each of us is very special. Our theme is winter (duh!) and the cold weather. We will also learn a song about what to wear in the cold. We'll focus on the number '5' this month as well as the stars, which is our shape of the month.
We're excited to welcome a new friend to our classroom this week. Little Josey will join us starting tomorrow! Please say hello to her and her mom ... as they are new to First Kids AND to Sealy! Also, if you don't already know, Landon welcomed a baby brother, Logan, on Dec. 11. Congrats Speights family!

Please remember First Kid’s Illness policy:
For the welfare of all children, any child who is sick needs to be kept at home. If your child runs a fever, they should be fever-free without medication for 24 hours before returning to school. If your child has been vomiting during the night or early morning, he should not come to school.
Your child should not attend school if he/she:
- has a fever of 100 degrees or over.
- has diarrhea or more than two loose stools during the day.
- has symptoms of a communicable disease.
- has a sore throat or constant cough.
- has a thick, discolored nasal mucus.
- has pinkeye.
- has any contagious skin condition.
- is vomiting.
- is unable to participate in the program.
If a child is not well enough to remain at school, a parent or someone listed on the release form will be contacted. Please make arrangements in case of an emergency. Please notify the school if your child has a contagious illness so we can notify other parents.
