Help save the ocean

Eutrophication
Eutrophication is what happens when you put fertilizer and pesticides in your grass so, when it rains the water washes away all of the chemicals which later drains into lakes and eventually oceans, this is very deadly to all organisms in the ocean. one way we can stop this is by not using as much pesticides.
Over fishing
over fishing is just what its name describes, its where humans get too many fish due to the population growth every year, one way we can stop this is by putting laws on a limit of how many times a day you can fish in one area and how much of one fish you can catch.
The distruction of coral reefs
Ten percent of the world's reefs have been completely destroyed. In the Philippines, where coral reef destruction is the worst, over 70% have been destroyed and only 5% can be said to be in good condition. one way we have helped to stop this is by making artificial reefs. the most important thing these are used for is helping to solve cancer.
toxic waste
Toxic waste is waste material that can cause death, injury or birth defects to living creatures. It spreads quite easily and can contaminate lakes, rivers, and the atmosphere. one way we can stop this is by dumping in a certain area and disposing of chemicals in a safe manner.
oil spills
An oil spill is the release of a liquid petroleum hydrocarbon into the environment, especially marine areas, due to human activity, and is a form of pollution. The term is usually applied to marine oil spills, where oil is released into the ocean or coastal waters, but spills may also occur on land. one way we can stop this is by stopping offshore drilling.
