I am amazed that we are coming to the close of 2019! This year has flown by! As we embrace 2020 and the start of a new year I thank you for being a member of our Midway family and for sharing your wonderful children with us. We are blessed as a school family with much love and caring. Thank you!
Over the holidays please celebrate your family and enjoy your time together. Build memories that bring smiles and that warm fuzzy feeling as these will be what your child or children reflect upon as they write stories, share traditions, and grow older. Practice traditions whether it is reading a certain book, singing a certain song, toasting marshmallows, and more. Cherish your families and your time!
As we build memories for our children, I thank each of you for supporting our children through the many activities leading to Winter Break. The delicious treats, the playing of music and games, the joyful readings and greetings...you are the best! Thank you! We are building memories together.
Please be safe over the holidays whether traveling or staying home! Fun and safety together will bring the best start for 2020!
Whatever your celebration may be...Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or more...I wish you the best!
Yours truly,
Jan Fickling
Principal
