Big picture

  • Please make sure your rooms are clean as we have open house on Sunday.
  • Your class schedules need to be in the office by Sunday so they can be put out for the open house. For upper-grade teachers this is a schedule of what your homeroom has not for you personally. On the back should be some highlights that give prospective parents a reason to send their students to Trinity.
  • Thank you for all of your work this short week as we had a lot of different activities going on.
  • A Special thanks to Julie and Amanda for their work in getting the two different chapel family activities ready.
  • I will be gone Friday, March 13 - Monday, March 16 to the ASCD conference.
  • If you are free on Friday night Junior Choir fest will be taking place at WISCO and we will have 22 ish singers participating it would be great for you to show them some support outside of athletics. The concert begins at 6:30 pm.
  • Wednesday is Lent so plan your after school activities accordingly and try to be out to the parking lot by 3:30 to help with dismissal.
  • Here is the link to the Technology Help Website. If you would like me to put anything on here please let me know.
  • Thank you for all of your hard work every week. We could not do everything that we do without it.

You are always a student, never a master. You have to keep moving forward.

How to do Cooperative Group Work Better

We all know that cooperative group work is good and can teach good 21st-century skills. However, we can not just expect kids to know how to work in groups. This article has some great resources to help set students up for success.

The Magic of Validation

This is a great reminder of not only what is a bad way to respond to other people or students but gives good examples of how to respond in a way that will build the relationship instead of tearing it apart.

How to Repair Relationships

We all have done things in a classroom that has hurt our relationship with a student. This is a good self-check and reminder especially during a difficult time of the school year. I hope you enjoy.
