Message from Administration!
We had such a great week getting ready to send kids home to find rest and rejuvenation with their families. I know that this time of year brings about areas of excitement, stress, and business, but we truly hope that you find moments to enjoy celebrating with your friends and family.
These last, almost, two years have been trying and brought about stress none of us could have imagined. The kids have endured so much and our staff has risen above and beyond to meet the needs of our students. We are so grateful to the dedication of both our staff and families for being strong in the wake of everything we have endured in 2020 and 2021. We hope that we can look ahead to a positive 2022! Thank you for your encouragement, warm thoughts and gifts this week. You have no idea how much we appreciate and value those sentiments. Happy Winter Break!
Jude & Tiffany

Family Connection Corner!
We are adding a new section to our newsletter to give our families an insight into the everyday happenings of students at Clifford. We know it has been a struggle to feel connected to our school community when you are not able to visit campus as you were once able to do. We hope this section provides you with insight into the joy our students live out everyday at Clifford. If you have ideas for things you would like to see in this section, please let me know!

Today, the last day before Winter Break, students are still busy working on fun activities in their classrooms and around campus. Here's what some of our students have been up to at school.
Ms. Cody's 4th grade students working on art projects
Ms. Curtis's 5th grade students are involved in a special writing project for their families.
Ms. Smith's 1st grade students reviewing a writing prompt before they journal for the day.
.Mrs. Keithley's 1st grade class working on holiday art projects.
Mr. Goity's Kindergarten class enjoying a fun book at circle time.
Mrs. Wilkerson's Kindergarten students work independently while Ms. Wilkerson meets individually with students.
Middle school students help run the Dolphin Depot on Friday's, and one of their major (self imposed tasks) is to make sure our digital sign is up to date and exciting for our students. (You can tell how seriously they take this task!)
Our TK students enjoy a recess on the playground during one of our most beautiful weather days we have had this week!

Message from Equity Coach, Natalie!
Dear Parents & Caregivers,
During last week’s Inclusive School Week many classes took advantage of the various lessons I offered. It was wonderful to connect with the students on the issues around disabilities awareness. As someone who is hearing impaired, I was able to share my own disability with the students and talk about how I learned to advocate for myself. Discussing disability awareness with the students was a good way to show them the importance of being an inclusive school.
This week students who visited the Equity Room learned about some winter celebrations around the world. The common themes in all the celebrations were lights, food, family and friends. However you spend your Winter Break I wish the whole Clifford family a relaxing time filled with warmth and happiness.
All the Best,
Natalie
