Headteachers Message
Dear Families
As we approach the end of this term and prepare for the festive season, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the incredible achievements of the past weeks at our school.
This half term has been nothing short of remarkable, and we have much to celebrate. The school production of "Footloose" was a resounding success, showcasing the talent, dedication, and teamwork of our students. The performances left us all thoroughly entertained and proud of the creativity within our school community.
Christmas Jumper Day was another highlight, as our school community rallied together with generous donations to make hampers for a local care home. Your kindness and generosity have undoubtedly supported many during this festive season.
In sports, our brilliant U16 Boys Basketball Team remains undefeated, demonstrating not only their skill on the court but also the resilience and sportsmanship that make us proud of them being a part of this school. Congratulations to the team for their outstanding achievements.
Miss Metcalfe is currently leading 8 teachers and 80 students, all who have so far been amazing, to Italy on our fantastic skiing trip. They left on Wednesday via coach for a 24-hour journey ready to start five fun filled days of skiing before returning on Wednesday for Christmas. I hope everyone enjoys every second of this incredible adventure!
Our Teddington Talks have continued to be informative and engaging, providing valuable insights and knowledge to our students. These talks are a testament to the commitment of our educators and guest speakers in fostering a culture of continuous learning within our school.
To cap off this fantastic half term, our festive Christmas lunch brought together students and staff. It was a wonderful way to usher in the festive period.
I want to express my gratitude to the entire school community—students, parents, teachers, and staff—for your collective efforts in making this half term such a success. Your support and involvement have been instrumental in creating a positive and thriving learning environment.
Looking forward, I encourage everyone to take full advantage of the upcoming break to rest, rejuvenate, and spend quality time with family and friends.
We look forward to welcoming students back on 2 January in full uniform, ready for another exciting term.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Kind regards
Mr P Grills

Both students achieved amazing results in the tournament with Will's team placing 6th out of 20 strong clubs, and Riley's finishing 4th in the U12 boys group.
