PEER TUTORING
Are you looking for the satisfaction that comes with helping someone new? Have you ever wanted to help your 6th and 7th grade peers do better but weren’t sure how? Apply to become a Peer Tutor and feel what it’s like to give back! Benefits of becoming a Peer Tutor include: CJSF points, an invitation to the Peer-Tutor lunch party and an official certificate of participation. Pick up an application on the B-side of the office and ask Mr. CK for further details!
FOOD DRIVE
CJSF is having a food drive as one of our service projects. We are having our food drive from September 25th to October 19th. Food will be collected in period 5 classes and the Period 5 class with the most items will win a party. Food will be given to the families we adopt and to the Contra Costa Food Bank. Flyers will be posted in their classroom to give students ideas of what to bring. Start right away bringing food to your fifth period class. If you have any questions. Please see Mrs. Montoya.
Pick-Up and Drop-Off:
We know that Drop-Off and Pick-Up at Sequoia can be difficult. During drop-off and pick-up please make sure to pick students up in the designated Yellow areas on the sides of the Sequoia Parking lot.
Please be considerate of our neighbors on both Campbell and Mosio Lane. Campbell Lane is a private road and not open for Sequoia pick-up. Mosio Lane is a narrow street behind the school, and families are recommended to pick-up across the street at the Senior Center parking lot.
Please help keep our kids safe!
